Hanukkah Harry Saves Christmas!
“On Herschel, on Moshe, on Shlomo….”
#15 - It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia - A Very Sunny Christmas
15. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia - A Very Sunny Christmas!” (not sure if this technically counts as a movie, but what the hell, I love it and it’s going here)

Awesome cast photo that I found…

#12 - The Family Stone
12. “The Family Stone” (I was surprisingly happy with this one… so many lovable, dynamic, fun characters! And the foreign poster is because I wanted one with all the actors and most American posters were just the finger with the ring.)

(interestingly enough, another Claire Danes movie… so I guess Colin Firth, Claire Danes, and Susan Serandon just speak to me about the holidays…)
#10 - Little Women
10. “Little Women” (nothing can touch the book, but this movie did a surprisingly good job with a classic… and these actresses are incredible together… It may not be what comes to mind when you think of a holiday movie, but there some Christmas scenes…)
(another Susan Serandon movie… not sure why or what that means…)

I believe this is an actual Christmas scene from the movie…

#9 - Stepmom
9. “Stepmom” (to say that I love this movie is an understatement… the Christmas gifts and the fact that it came out around Christmas make it permanently associated with this time of year for me)

So I had some trouble finding screenshots/stills of the scene(s) I wanted, but this is a pretty awesome one just the same - one of the many times the characters sing along to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” -

Here’s a sort of rough one from the Christmas scene(s) where Susan Serandon gives her daughter, Jena Malone, a quilt….

#8 - The Santa Clause
8. “The Santa Clause” (loved it then and it’s still pretty funny)

#7 - Deck the Halls
7. “Deck the Halls” (again, sometimes it’s nice to see that not everyone has it perfect… and sometimes it’s just funny as hell… and you can’t help but love Danny DeVito if you love “It’s Always Sunny…”)

#6 - Four Christmases
6. “Four Christmases” (a new addition to my list… it honestly made me laugh quite a few times. And Kristin Chenoweth is an added bonus!)

And Kristin Chenoweth as Reese Witherspoon’s sis…

#4 - Bridget Jones’s Diary
4. “Bridget Jones’s Diary” (not really officially a holiday movie, but it begins and ends around Christmas time and the New Year and has some awesome holiday moments - the jumpers at the beginning? Classic.)

(Darcy in said offensive reindeer jumper. You gotta love the Colin Firth - Mark Darcy -Pride & Prejudice connections too.)

#3 - Home Alone
3. “Home Alone” (a classic for a reason)
